A photo that makes you happy
Ok so this is kind of personal for me, but this photo makes me smile because my Grandpa was still alive. He was still struggling with cancer, but he was still a happy man. It was Christmas when this picture was taken.
Also in this photo are my cousin, sister, and my aunt’s boyfriend.

My grampa
Yesterday was my first Christmas without my Grampa, who passed away on Monday. Even though I was surrounded by other family members and was for the most part enjoying myself, I still felt the loss.
I’m generally a visual person, so I thought not seeing him sitting at the end of the table would make me upset. Turns out it was not only that, but especially the fact that I’m so used to hearing him talk and be happy at Christmas, that made me feel the loss even more.
Today was his birthday, he would have been 81.
Oon the plus side I got a drawing finished for him, which I’ll have to give to my Gramma.
The funeral’s on Wednesday. I can’t stand funerals but I have to stay strong.
